Greg Jackson is a passionate creative and producer with broad-ranging experience within Audio and TV.
He is skilled in such audio disciplines as Sound Design & Post Production for Film, Music Production and Composition, and Radio Production. His skills were developed and honed through completion of BA (hons) Creative Music Technology (Hull University) and MSc Audio Production (Salford University) degrees.
As a musician and music producer, Greg has received recognition from reputable music publications (M.E.N Citylife, Sound-on-Sound, The Skinny), online reviewers (freshonthenet.co.uk, Dots & Dashes, Richer Sounds Unsigned), and has received airplay on both local and national radio (BBC Radio Manchester, BBC Radio 6Music, XFM). In 2014, he was selected from over 3000 recording artists across Europe to represent the UK at EuroMusic Contest – a non-institutional Europe-wide music competition – with his project, Glass Ankle. Additionally, Mercedes-Benz chose to feature Glass Ankle song, “One of Them“, on their acclaimed “Mixed Tape” compilation.
He is proficient in using Pro Tools, Ableton Live, Adobe Audition, Cubase, and Logic Pro DAW applications and possesses his own recording and studio equipment.
Greg also works as a freelancer within the realm of live television providing live sound, EVS LSM operation, and vision mixing expertise.
